Time Line

If you find your photographer rushing you it might be for a good reason.Photographers have to deal with a little thing called timeline. We have a number of obstacles to overcome and sometimes it is to keep things moving and to get the shots necessary to telling your story. You have a wedding that starts at a certain time; you have a reception start at a certain time.Often times the bride and groom want to stay with tradition so they cannot see one another prior to the wedding. This means a photographer has to work fast and be creative.

The most important Investment you can make

Using a professional wedding photographer may be the most important investment you make. I can tell you that you don’t need a professional photographer for your special day, but I will remind you that your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Your wedding photographs will only grow in value and importance as the years go by, much like the pictures of your childhood. In talking with other wedding photographers, there is one thing we all agree on… how many times we've heard that the bride or groom wish they would have hired a professional photographer.

2012 Wedding trends

I have been watching this area quite closely to see (if any) major changes may carryover into 2012. Of course, 2011 trends will spill into 2012. So don't think of it as "last season" for doing something that feels personal and unique. Trends (to me) become less important when you find those things that you feel really fit your style and make you both look and feel like the couple you see yourself as.

Always Remember

It's a funny thing but I never forget a bride and groom. I may forget the reception or church. But I never forget the relationship I forged with the wedding couple. So much can be said about capturing the moment but I like to take the entire experience in and capture the story of the relation ship. This couple was married outside in 100 degree temps right after a thunderstorm. Later their would be a rainbow, I think just for them.
