I can tell you that you don’t need a professional photographer for your special day, but I will remind you that your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. In talking with other wedding photographers, there is one thing we all agree on… how many times we've heard that the bride or groom wish they would have hired a professional photographer. Often time's people will allow a family member to shoot their wedding in an attempt to stay in budget.

The cameras today are very good and with the right settings you can get great images. But there is much more to the craft than gear. Shouldn’t you entrust it to a highly trained professional photographer, someone who will do you justice on your big day? A new or inexperienced photographer will not know how to pose, or get the ever-changing light settings required to get the shot. You can’t photoshop a blurred picture, and if the camera fails they won’t have a back-up. So much can go wrong and an experienced photographer knows this and is prepared.
