Choosing the photographer

I often read on social media outlets amateur and new wedding photographers discussing their biggest problems. They are looking for feedback or solutions to the dilemmas they find themselves in. They are always dealing with a bride or family member, bridesmaids, wedding planner, church lady. The complaints seem to be all the same, people issues. Contract issues can solve a lot of issues, some don’t even use contracts. I guess this is all caused from lack of preparation or experience. I apprenticed for two years and shot a ton of weddings before I shot my first wedding solo.

Wedding Packages

I have flexible packages that suit just about everyone. I have small 3 hour packages for those only having a small ceremony and just need it captured along with some family formals and of course portraits of the bride and groom. Then of course I have full day packages that cover everything from getting ready all the way through to the reception. Which is right for you? That's something you will need to decide. But if you're having a ceremony and a reception you should really consider a full day package.

God's Love

It’s been a while since I put a new blog out. I have always avoided controversial content on my site. I simply don’t think it the right platform to express my faith. I now believe not talking about things brings us to a point of controversy and debate. Faith is no debate, and should be discussed openly and anytime you feel moved to share. If you don’t believe in God, that’s OK, maybe it’s not your time. Christians are happy and bathed in joy with the spirit of the lord all around them.

Professional Wedding Photography

Professional Wedding Photography in the St Louis, MO Area

When it comes to your wedding day, you want to make sure that every moment is documented so that you can remember it for forever. Using experienced wedding photographers Saint Louis, MO is just the way for you to have great photographs and mementos from your big day.

Traffic Jams

I have shot several weddings that have the wedding ceremony at one location and the reception at another. This is pretty common, and is normal or par for the course. The bride and groom will often block off some time to go to yet another location(s) like a park to get some stunning photographs. This can be problematic if the location is far away from the wedding or reception location.

St Louis Wedding Photographer

The first things newly engaged brides do is go dress shopping, reserve a ceremony and reception location, and hire a wedding photographer. Chance is, this is the first time you have hired a wedding photographer, or any professional photographer.

I have shot hundreds of weddings and I am experienced in shooting weddings, trust me I have seen it all.

Finding a photographer that knows the area and traffic patterns in St Louis will be valuable.

Some Quotes

Blog of quotes: Enjoy......

“His attentive treatment of her had nothing to do with the presumption that she was weak, and everything to do with the conviction that she was valuable.” ― Angela N. Blount,

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.--Confucius

My Job My Passion

Thank you for stopping by my blog! Now for a bit about me. I am a wedding photographer based in St Louis, Missouri. I also shoot commercial real estate, destination weddings, and last minute weddings. Watching the day unfold is exciting but being able to capture it is a rush. Every girl dreams about a picture perfect wedding. My post-production style is very natural with little manipulation.

Be Cool

I want to share some of my thoughts on wedding planning and a few mistakes I have seen. When planning for the wedding, brides tend to put a lot of pressure on themselves to make the event absolutely perfect, and this puts stress on everyone involved. What you need to remember is that even though your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, it’s just ONE day. Take time to enjoy this important event in the days leading up to your wedding as well. Your engagement period is a very special time.

Bridesmaid's

When you're picking out bridesmaid dresses, remember that your friends are on budgets. Even if they're absolutely gorgeous, don't pick a gown that is going to make it difficult for them to purchase.
