Love is in the Air

If you’re true love has pledged his (or her) heart, now is the time to get those wedding plans up and running. There’s no time like the present, and there willl be lots to do, so why not get your wedding venue, and photographer buttoned up now.

Farwell to Elizibeth Taylor

Here is a short list of my favorite movies by the legend:

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf

The Sandpiper

Butterfield 8

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

 and of course Cleopatra,

Yes, she was a glamorous woman whose life filled the tabloid pages but she was also an actress whose beauty, magnetism and talent filled the screen, she will be missed.

By The Numbers

1 in 4 Brides Didn’t Love Their Proposal. The bride may have said yes, but that doesn’t mean she loved how he popped the question. Twenty-six percent of brides revealed they wished their Proposal was more romantic, more original and personal, more private or that it was simply too over-the-top. Perhaps the 76 percent of men who said they planned the entire proposal all on their own should have asked for some help after all.

Outdoor Beauty

Getting married outdoors under the sun? Don't forget to apply the sunscreen before you put on your makeup---a burnt bride doesn't look good!

I recall a wedding where the groom went to the tanning salon the day before the wedding, needless to say he over cooked and his face was red. Now there is only so much you can do in Photoshop.

So lesson learned make your changes early on in the month or we don;t make major changes the day before the big day.Be yourself, let that shine through not your red face.

Veil or no Veil

If you're going to remove your veil or headpiece after the wedding ceremony, make sure your hairstylist takes this into consideration when she's doing your hair---you don't want your style to become messed up when you make the transition.

Also Check with your photographer there are so many beautiful shots with the Veil they may want you to keep it on for photos. If you are considering a short or a long veil always go with the long. You have so many more opportunities with the long veil.

Whose Celeb Wedding Would You Like To Attend?

There are a lot of weddings on the horizon, what Celeb wedding would you like to attend, for that matter what wedding would you have liked to attended in the past?

I would have to stick to the royal weddings, I think they would be a blast.

Well on another topic work is going well on the new website design for Dave Hunsche Photography.

I hope to be finished soon, thanks for all the positive emails and comments.

Wedding Disasters can be prevented

If you're obsessing over every little tiny detail, thinking about it all day and having
nightmares about it at night, you can lose sight of what really matters. Focus on the
fact that it's a day about the two of you creating a bond and a union.

Photo Ideas-Videography

If you absolutely must cut costs on photography and wedding videography, consider getting just a photographer and have a friend videotape the wedding and ceremony. If you're really strapped, hire a photographer to take pictures only for the ceremony and enlist some helpful friends or family to take pictures at the reception.

Site Is almost finished

Yes work in progress, but my new site is almost finished, I hope you enjoy it.

Spring is in the air........

I just like soft and subtle colors for Spring, but if you wanted to go a little crazy for color, you certainly could. The nice thing about white is that it goes with anything. So if you want something that will pop with your white wedding dress, any color is a go!
